PLASMA diagnostics 2010 is an International Conference on Diagnostic Methods involved in Research and Applications of Plasmas, originating on combining the 5th German-Polish Conference on Plasma Diagnostics for Fusion and Applications and the 7th French-Polish Seminar on Thermal Plasma in Space and Laboratory.

The conference is aiming at promoting the art of diagnostics in all fields of plasma physics by establishing a forum for scientists, engineers and students to discuss the instruments and the methods as well as all insights obtained by their application.

All diagnostic methods established in

• Space plasmas
• Fusion plasmas
• Laboratory plasmas both basic experiments and dusty plasmas
• Industrial plasma processing and applications

will be addressed.

Special emphasis will be put during the conference on sharing experience from the various fields to indentify and to find solutions to common open issues. Synergetic approaches will be in particular promoted by addressing advanced signal processing techniques, diagnostic modelling, integrated data analysis. Therefore a dedicated time will be devoted each day to a synthesis of all the talks and to open discussions.

The Scientific Program will cover the fields from low temperature laboratory to fusion plasmas of various configurations as well as dusty and astrophysical plasmas and industrial plasma applications.
